Happy December Modig

Hope you’re enjoying the beautiful Colorado weather and getting in some good WODs at Modig. This month we are profiling two members of Modig Fitness. Jared Winter and Tracy Lawrence. Enjoy learning a little more about them!

1. Where did you grow up? Colwich, Kansas (close to Wichita)

2. How long have you been CrossFitting? 1 year 2 months

3. What is your favorite WOD? Anything with pullups and muscle up training.

4. What is your favorite lift? Clean

5. What is your least favorite CF move? Thrusters

6. What do you think is the biggest myth about CrossFit?  I think the biggest myth is that a person has to be in ‘good enough shape’ to get started with Crossfit

7. What do you like to do (besides CrossFit) on the weekends? I like to relax and have friends and family time.

8. What is something about you that most people don’t know? Most people probably don’t know that I play guitar.

9. What is your favorite (paleo or non-paleo) food? My favorite paleo food are the Paleo breakfast muffins my wife Trier makes.

10. How has CrossFit changed your life?   Crossfit has improved my flexibility, it has helped my lower back issues and it has helped me with my overall fitness!

2. How long have you been CrossFitting? Two years

3. What is your favorite WOD?  Fran

4. What is your favorite lift? Power Clean

5. What is your least favorite CF move? Rowing

6. What do you think is the biggest myth about CrossFit? For women: weight training will make you bulky and masculine.

7. What do you like to do (besides CrossFit) on the weekends? Hang out with my family

8. What is something about you that most people don’t know? I was Miss Marianna

9. What is your favorite (paleo or non-paleo) food? Dark chocolate

10. How has CrossFit changed your life? I follow the paleo diet and feel better than I have in years. CrossFit is also the most effective form of exercise I have ever tried.
